Program Duration: 

March 2nd, 2026 - June 26th, 2026 (the first week is orientation week and classes start from March 9th, 2026).

Applicants can apply for joining the program in the middle of the semester. Two weeks at least with 1200RMB per week.

※ In case of Chinese public holidays and school activities, classes will be adjusted or suspended.

Duration:

One semester or more

Class Schedule:

29 class hours per week (1 class hour = 45 minutes)

Morning: From Monday to Friday 8:30-11:45

Afternoon: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 13:15-15:45

Class opening conditions:

Offering classes from beginning to advanced (Elementary, Intermediate, Pre-Advanced, Advanced), with a minimum of 8 students per level.

*If the conditions for opening classes are not met, students can choose to transfer to Standard Chinese Language program or Intensive Chinese Language Program.

Fees:

Application fee: 800 RMB; tuition fee:15000 RMB/semester; the cost of teaching materials is at your own expense.

Textbook:

BCT Standard Course, A Practical Business Chinese Reader, Erya Chinese, Excel in Chinese, etc.It will be adjusted according to the actual situation. The cost of teaching materials is at your own expense.

Course description

1.Specially designed for those who will or have already engaged in business or trade career under Chinese-related background.

2.Offer appropriate courses for students of different levels to meet their needs at different learning stages.

3.Help students obtain a larger vocabulary and specialized knowledge of business purpose.

4.Enhance students' understanding of contemporary Chinese economy and finance through diverse courses.

5.Cultivate students' communication skills in business surroundings through various scenario simulations like negotiation, speech, etc.

6.Regularly arrange business themed lectures and on-site visits to companies.

※ Applicants should finish the payment of tuition fee before August 10, 2026. Please indicate the tuition fee and the applicant's passport name when making the remittance. After the remittance is completed, please upload the remittance voucher to the application system.

Refund Rules

A full refund is available for those who give up enrollment and complete the withdrawal procedures and visa cancellation procedures before the semester start date (by September 14th, 2026, inclusive); 70% refund for those who complete the withdrawal procedures and visa cancellation procedures within the first two weeks after the semester start date (by September 28th, 2026, inclusive); no refund afterwards.

Please note: To ensure the proper functioning of the program, students who have paid their tuition fees will not be permitted to transfer to another Chinese language program during their first semester.

Visa and Accommodation

ECNU will provide visa application documents for students of Chinese Language Programs based on study duration.

The first round of accommodation bookings for new students is expected to open in early July 2026. Students are required to pay their tuition fees in advance to be eligible to book accommodation. Accommodation will be offered subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Further details will be communicated via email.
