Research Interests:Second language education, language assessment, learning analytics, and educational evaluation
Research Experience:Published seven articles in journals including Assessing Writing, Language Assessment Quarterly, and Journal of Sichuan Normal University (Social Science Edition).Participated in major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China (Research on Standards and Assessment System for Chinese Communicative Competence) and in key projects of Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd (Cognitive Validity Study of the Chinese Proficiency Test).Recipient of the 2023 Duolingo Doctoral Research Award in Language Assessment.
Personal Statement:My research lies at the intersection of applied linguistics and language education, with a particular focus on the practice and development of international Chinese education. I have expertise in educational evaluation, psychometrics, and language testing, and I apply these perspectives and methodologies in my work. My completed studies mainly investigate the validity of language assessment from the perspectives of teacher and learner assessment literacy, learners’ cognitive processes, and learning analytics. Through this research, I aim to refine existing assessment methods, explore future-oriented models of educational evaluation, and build a bridge between assessment and learning.
