This book is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the study of 18th-century concepts of sentiments, and the second part is dedicated to the interpretation of 18th-century novel texts. The book redefines the fundamental characteristics of the Enlightenment era, shifting from the notion of the "Age of Reason" to the "Age of Sentiments".
