On June 25, 2021, a delegation from the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, came to East China Normal University to conduct research on the key topic of Building a new mechanism of Chinese language education with internal and external collaboration. They learned about the current situation of Chinese language education in Shanghai, the training of Chinese language education teachers, the development of Chinese language education teaching materials, and the construction of Chinese language education bases, and exchanged views with leaders of Shanghai CPPCC, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and the School of International Chinese Studies.
