Liu is a lecturer with a Ph.D. He has devoted himself to linguistics and applied linguistics and offers courses including Language Acquisition and Competence Development, Assessment and Testing of Chinese Language Teaching, Pedagogy of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, etc.
