Wang graduated from the Department of TCFL at ECNU in 1997 and received her Ph.D. from the Department of Chinese Language & Literature at Fudan University in 2007. Her current research interests include syntax and semantics of Contemporary Chinese language, international Chinese language education, etc.
She offers undergraduate courses including Special Studies on Grammar of Contemporary Chinese Language, Introduction to Linguistic Works, Introduction to Works on Linguistic Methodology, and undergraduate courses including Contemporary Chinese Language, Thesis Writing, Advanced Chinese Listening and Speaking, Intermediate Chinese Listening and Speaking, Practical Chinese Grammar, etc.
She has delivered dozens of papers in journals and published one monograph, A Study of the Non-realistic Semantics of Chinese in 2009. Her project was approved by the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education in 2012 and completed in 2017. In 2020, her Research on CSL Deep Learning Model Based on Corpora Metric Information was approved as a general project of National Social Sciences.
