Dai is an Associate Professor and received her Ph.D. in Literature from ECNU in 2007. Her research interests include international Chinese language education, comparative literature and world literature, literary folklore, women's literature, and European fairy tales. She offers courses such as History of Foreign Literature, Foreign-oriented Applied Writing, Introduction to Comparative Literature, Chinese Folk Culture, Elementary Chinese, and Intermediate and Advanced Chinese Reading for both Chinese and foreign students. She published the monograph Women's Creative Writing and Fairy Tale Patterns, the textbook Outline of Chinese Culture (associate editor), and the editorial Dictionary of Synonyms and Antonyms, and delivered the Report on the Development of Chinese Literature in the German-speaking World: 2015-2016, etc. She received the third prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award, the Shanghai Talent Training Award, and the Advanced Individual Award of Global Confucius Institutes.
